PDML Friends, I wonder if I could introduce you to my buddy Bob Meier, the author of the following note--Bob is also "Summicron" who was discussed briefly a few days ago (and who managed to snag that minty 35/2 S.-M.-C.-Takumar for $90, BTW).
Apart from being a sometime Pentaxian and as bad a CAS (Camera Acquisition Syndrome) sufferer as any of us, Bob also runs a very good B&W custom lab out of Minneapolis. WHATEVER YOU DO, please don't tell him that his prices are ridiculously low for custom handwork; we wouldn't want to have him go raise prices on us. <g> I don't think Bob quite qualifies as a curmudgeon yet, but, now that he's here, we can work on him. --Mike > Date: Sun, 20 Jan 2002 15:09:09 -0600 > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re:Spotmatic's Screens > > Does anyone know if it's feasible to replace the screen in a Spotmatic F > with a more recent screen, say, one made for the LX?
