PS. Taking photographs on the snow (e.g. while skiing) Has always been a challenging task: the light is very tricky, - both
from the point of view of brightness and the white balance.
If you have any "know-how", - those suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Snow tends to be bluish. For a starting point I use 1-1/3 stop over exposure & WB set to shade; then adjust from there using the histogram & looking at the little TV on the back for blinkies.
