AVI (Audio Video Interleave) is a Windows thing, quite popular in fact
but it's only a multimedia container format, the video format embedded
in the AVIs from the Pentax cams is m-jpeg (Motion JPEG) and the audio
component is straight PCM as far as I'm aware (K7 is stereo of
course).
