Welcome back!
Where in Southern Ontario are you?
cheers,

Burlington, and a member of the Latow Photography Guild in the Burlington Arts
Center. Check it out if you like, latow.com . I'm the last slide shooter... sad
to see that post processing in Photo-shop seems to be more important now than
the raw camera image... which is why I love slides.

Welcome back Cliff, and looking forward to seeing your 2010 submission.

I'm in Southern Ontario my self, over by Markham. I like trains, some
of my family have been rail roaders, but i don't get out and shoot
them as often as i like

I've had pictures published during the past year in the US magazine "The
Railroad Press", and online newsletter Canadian Railway Observations, @
www.canadianrailwayobservations.com .

So Cliff...Howard...are you in the witness relocation program? Welcome
back, whatever the case.

Maybe you should start a film vs digital debate as a welcome back thread.

:-)

I'm actually David Howard, but use the Yahoo account (Cliff Morgan) for elists
etc... so why don't we call me Cliff Howard to thoroughly confuse things! The
Cliff refers to the edge I'm on as a film guy, and Morgan as my favorite brand
of rum. Don't get me started on the film vs digital debate.

We should have an old timers day.  Sit around a reminisce about the arguments
on whether or not the PZ-1P was a pro camera, then move on to talking about the
Who.

My all time favorite is a Black MX with 5 FPS Motor Drive, still use it with
Velvia 50... best metering system. All other bodies jump around like crazy (too
sensitive), so I typically expose with a Gossen Luna Six Pro F on incident, as
there's little latitude with slides.

Enjoy,
Dave Howard
