Nope, it's not possible. There's two problems. The first is that the mounts are too close in diameter, so you can't get a Pentax lens's bayonet plus a mechanically sound adapter inside the A mount. The second is clearing the unusually long aperture lever of K mount. The adapters on eBay are optical, in that they're an extension tube with a cheap optic inside to restore infinity focus, but function like a teleconverter (about a 1.2x increase in focal length, 2/3rds of a stop in light loss and a massive impact on image quality). They purely add suck to your images. I really wish that you could practically adapt Pentax lenses to A mount. My Maxxum 7 would see much more use. -- M.
