Thanks for this info. Opening the istD should be easy. My biggest concern was removing the installed filter, on the istD this looks "easy". The filter used in this mod is for astrophotography. We would need a R72 filter above the antialias filter. As soon as I have found such a filter I will plug in the soldering iron!
