No, but I saw him on his horse galloping down some street in New York a

That's nothing.
In one episode he galloped his horse over the Sydney Harbour Bridge...
(Those scriptwriters were earned their keep on that one - just
developing a scenario in which McCloud and his horse needed to go to
Sydney required a seriously inventive imagination!)
