I'm not so sure. Whenever I ship to California (I live in Boston) I
use USPS Priority and stuff gets there in 3 working days (with
Saturday counting as a working day). When I order stuff that gets
shipped to me from California via UPS, it's more expensive, and takes
about 7 working days (and for UPS, Saturday is a holy day, not a
working day). I have no complaints about USPS.
Except that one time they held my mail hostage for a week after I
returned from vacation; but that's another story.
