A good list.
The more hard drive space you can afford, the better. I now have nine drives
and about 4 terabytes of space -- and Im running out. I'm going to park some
full drives and plug in a few new ones.

Don't think you'll need a monitor shade unless you work in a room where you
can't control the light levels.

You should be able to get buy with one high quality printer. Didn't you buy a
top of the line Epson 13 x 19? That should be adequate if you don't want to
print bigger than that carriage allows. You shouldn't need another printer for
4x6 proofs. Just gang them on one sheet of 13 x 19 paper and cut them apart.
You can print at a lesser quality if you wish, although I always print photos
at a relatively high quality setting.

I like Ilford Gold Fibre Silk and Epson Velvet Fine art. I've also been using
Epson Exhibition Fibre quite a bit. Atlex.com has it at very good prices, and
it's very similar to Gold Fibre Silk -- just slightly heavier stock and a bit
more texture.
