Hrumpf. Picked up some AP concertina bottles for developer and fixer the other day. No matter how tightly I screw in the caps, they don't stay squeezed. They should, shouldn't they? Could have saved myself some beer money and just used recycled drink bottles.

Glass bottles in different sizes are what I found to be best... especially the dark brown ones that contained meds when the quart sized ones are half full. especially for the developer it really
lengthens the life of the stuff.
I wouldn't use anything plastic in the dark room. Glass or stainless steel for the working solutions too.

Thanks Ann

Probably not the cheapest way to go, but I have Ifosol and Rapid Fixer in 500ml bottles. I try to shoot film in batches so I can use them up quickly. Still, working solutions are easier to mix in quantity. I'll look into getting some dark bottles. I wonder if empty red wine bottles with vacuum rubber stoppers would work. I certainly have lots of them around
