Sure, but "one stop more" or "one bit more" is still "twice as much",
just as an increase from 100 dB to 103 dB is "twice as much", not "3%
more".
See, this is as easy as falling off a log.
I do find it aesthetic that the 1/3 stop per click of the E-wheel works
out to ~1dB per click.
