I would like to see the exhibit.
If one of my photos gets in, I'll try to arrange to be there on May 7th.
If it doesn't there is going to be a very fun blues dance event the
weekend of June 11th, so I'll try to catch the close of the exhibit
instead. I don't think I can swing two trips to chicago a month apart.
To further complicate my schedule, I have been invited to take my
brown belt exam in Aikido either June 7, 11 or 14, the upcoming
intense training will be an interesting counterpoint to the excitement
of the job I started last week. Between the two of those, it may
actually cut into my time for taking photos.

Friday, May 7th will be the opening reception from 6-9 pm. The
gallery is on the 4th floor of Dank Haus. On the 6th floor there is
a bar called the Skyline Lounge, which has an excellent terrace
offering a nice roof top view of the city. Sue said the bar might
have free jazz that night. So that could be fun, but if we don't
want to stay there, there are lots of nice bars within a short
walking distance from Dank Haus.
