Well, enjoy it. Your strategy is pretty sound. I am hoping for the same - a K7 with K-x capable high ISO.
Just a small tip - there is a setting for battery type. You can set to lithium or Nimh or Alkalines or auto sense (default). I found it didn't sense some of my nimh batteries very well and showed them as almost dead.
