Allowing light to pass through lenses when you're not using them is a waste of their light transmissivity. If you allow it to be frittered away in this manner it will be used up very quickly (possibly running out in the middle of an important shoot!) and the life of the lens will be shortened considerably. -- Mark Roberts www.robertstech.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
