I think you're mistaken on this, John. The drives themselves are SATA.
If you install them inside the computer case, they connect using the
SATA interface. If you put a SATA drive in an external case, the
external case can supply an eSATA connection back to the computer.
Right. I understand that NOW. Trouble from reading email BEFORE I make
coffee in the morning.
I misunderstood it to not support a newer style of SATA drive, rather
than not supporting a newer external SATA interface.
And come to that, I think I'll go put a pot of coffee on.
