You don't even need a smart phone, mine is far from "smart" but I can upload any sound file over bluetooth and use it as a ringtone. I got bored a while ago and uploaded the call of a bellbird as my ringtone and a North Island robin as my txt sound. Only downside is that they're easily muffled but I don't consider a missed phone call as a life-or-death situation.
