Snowy's have black legs and yellow feet as well as a thin black beak. This one has black legs and feet and a big yellow beak.
Rules of thumb for white wading birds: 1. Big yellow beak and all black legs (on a big bird) = Great Egret 2. Thin black beak, black legs and yellow feet = Snowy Egret 3. Short bird with short yellow beak and blackish legs = Cattle Egret Christian On Mon, Mar 22, 2010 at 04:25:34PM -0700, Jack Davis wrote: > Last image ESPECIALLY nice, Bruce.
