If you're using Windows the swap file defaults to the C drive. The scratch file should go on the D: drive for the best performance your likely to get.

D: is pretty close to full, only about 18GB free. Got a new 500GB drive to install.

Do you think it would work better with the scratch file on D: where the images are located, or on C: where the program is located?
