I forwarded this to a few friends, one of whom replied with an explanation. I thought it was a motor bike, but apparently it was a Ferrari 275 gtb fitted with a gyro-stabilised camera on the bumper and driven by a F1 driver, whose name has never been revealed by the director, Lelouch. Apparently Lelouch was arrested when the film was first shown in public. No roads were closed, the driver ran a lot of red lights, nearly hit a lot of pedestrians, and drove the wrong way up a lot of one-way streets.
