Nicely seen. First shot I have mixed feelings about - funny it is the same element that I like and disklike at the same time. In the background is another plant OOF that sort of provides the framework of the subject. From that perspective I like it - sort of like a matching background. On the other hand, it also makes it feel a little busy - that part I don't like.
Second shot is nice, but not so compelling for me.
