I have the same Sears lens. The macro is amazingly sharp. One of the great bargain lens ever. However, I have an old Vivitar 17-28 A-F-4-4.5 that is my fave walking around lens. Took me a few rolls to figure out the flare, but since then it has been a joy. cheers - marty [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi
