I hear you, Ken. I'm going to inspect some other shots of that grouping
for a less distracting one. I also don't like the busy "swirly" oof area
in the bottom 1/4 of that image. Sigh. Anyway, "beautiful plummage!". :-)

Well spring arrived ... and was instantly replaced by summer. It's 24
degrees C here right now (75F), and with humidity it's like 28C (82F).
I'd normally be taking these shots wearing a coat and gloves instead
