I think the best way of printing B&W with a 1270 is by making a duotone. The print will have a color cast anyway, so you might as well be in control of it. To make a duotone, in Photoshop select Image->Mode->Duotone (iirc, that's where the option is) Short of a quadtone system, a duotone gives you the most control. j -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Juan J.
