Glad you got it to work in the end. I'd take the shims of your hands, but who knows what screen the K-8 is going to have or when it's going to be released (or when I'm going to buy it, for that matter). Give them to somebody who needs them now. What I will accept is a few minutes with your K-7 + A 50mm f/1.2. I'd like to know what it's like to shoot without feeling like I'm in a focus lottery :-) Cheers, --M.
