Sadly it looks like there's a lot of interest: "The event is fully booked. A recording will be available later on the website."

Q: How many Californians does it take to change a light bulb? A: Six.
One to turn the bulb, one for support, and four to relate to the experience.

Must be some serious relating going on there =)

I don't know if it's so much a California thing as an "ART" thing. We
just ain't intellect-kewl enough to understand real artistic stuff, so
these guys have to simplify it for us peasants.

: Lady taking Tea, Jean-Siméon Chardin, 1735. “Photography's
: distinctive value lies more in its humble documentary function, its
: intimate examination and commemoration of everyday life, than it does
: in its obsolete technology. Think of the painterly attentiveness of
: Chardin as being more photographical in this regard than the photo
: wizardry of Moholy-Nagy or Man Ray.” – Blake Stimson.

So there you have it. You just got to understand that some old painting is more photographical than actual photographs.

EFF 'em.

I ain't takin' instruction from some clown with his head stuck so obviously up his fourth point of contact.
