...seems he's expecting his second child to be entering the world at almost exactly that time. I explained that he could bring his wife because we'll have at least one doctor in attendance who could handle the delivery, but he's staying home anyway. Go figure.
Those of you who came to GFM last year will remember John as the Pentax guy who brought the pre-production K7 for us to try out, along with a pile of top-end lenses. (I suppose this means we won't have a pre-production 645D to snap away with this time...)
