There is an 80-mile stretch of old highway between New Orleans and Baton Rouge that is called Airline Highway. Your photos really remind me of the diners that dotted that pre-freeway stretch of highway, sort of like a shorter Route-66. I'll try to take some time this weekend to go through your diner blog. I like it.
