I am hoping to solve a winder problem and a remote cord mystery,
with your help.
I have a winder that will work on my two better-conditioned LXs, but
will not on the two that have seen the most (ab)use. On the two that it
will not work, if I loosen the winder I can get it to trigger. I originally
thought that the shutter was not going down far enough, but it does - off
the winder. I hope to look at it this weekend. I would not mind if someone
familiar with the workings of the winder could give me some pointers. I
would like to try the adjustment myself. I am more apt to use the winder on
the two (ab)used cameras and would like to get them fully operational.
Secondly, I have a remote cord that matches the one shown on Boz�s
site and on the LX accessories sheet that I got with my new one. This is
the remote I have seen mentioned about working on the MEII winder, I think.
I have another one that says LX on it, takes batteries, has an ON OFF switch
and can be seen in the first two photos at
http://cesar_abdul.homestead.com/LX.html I cannot find a reference to it.
Mine will trigger the winder with the switch in the on or off postion.
