Last week I bought an SMC Pentax 300/4 for the 6x7 at a buy it now price
of $595. It was listed in excellent condition. That's not a remarkably
low price, but it is quite good for a late model 6x7 300. For example
there's a similar lens listed now for a $750 BIN, and KEH gets over $900
for this lens. After buying at the BIN price, I was surprised to learn
that Adorama ws the seller. Yet, on their website, they're asking more
than $750 for comparable glass. The lens arrived today, and it's a
beauty. A tiny nick in the hood is the only thing I could find that
would keep me from offering it "as new." I'm very pleased. By the way,
when I called Adorama to make payment, the lady who answered the phone
said, "You know this is a great deal, don't you. "
"Yes maam," said I.
