Unfortunately, a couple of things have conspired against me in my efforts to make it to Chicago.
First are a number of assignments that have to be wrapped up by the end of the weekend, including a very important child-safety piece for the Times. I have to stay focused on that. Second is the calendar. Sunday is mother's day, so if I were to go to Chicago, I'd have to travel Friday and return Saturday. That would make it more of a marathon than a nice weekend. So I regretfully will have to pass this time. But I will watch the proceedings on line. Thanks to Mark and Christine for all their work in putting this together. A worthy effort. And have fun!
