I've thought about that, and I'm not sure what the answer is. I pulled one of the carts out of the water, but I was in between errands, so I didn't have a lot of time.
Like a lot a rivers in the northeast, this one has lots of random garbage and is polluted with PCBs, and it's a full time job working to clean up these rivers. This one is a bit forgotten because it is so well hidden from the towns that it runs through. I do what I can to take pictures like this to try to inspire people.
