I get that reaction to my own stuff a  lot.

I figure I wasn't thinking. And, ironically, when I take most of my  best 
shots I am not thinking a lot either. Sometimes, yes, but most of the time,  
no.

So I'll just continue with the non-thinking. Actually, it's one of  the 
things I really love about photography, I don't have to overthink  it.
