It's fine so long as there's limited ambiguity in the case of otherwise un-manipulated images. For instance if I make a shot of my back yard by moonlight it generally looks quite strange as often due to its position in the sky the moon casts shadows that the sun couldn't. > Was the shot pleasing? It was pleasing, I appreciated the composition and content but due to the ambiguity developed by the exposure wondered quite what was going on, I guess for a straight landscape that's a little unusual.
