Remember the good old days when we used an electric engraver to
disfigure all our pieces of photo gear with our social security
number? (Leica owners excepted) You can still pick up some good gear
if you want to steal someone's identity at the same time! :-)

Not a bad idea, actually... and kinda fun
although putting apiece of tape o the camera with your phone on it
or email might work as well and is less work.
I also like to disfigure mine with yellow tape to make it less
desireable and hide the brand.
