This is in the vein of my flowers past their prime series, it's mostly forgettable, but the beat up trillium from a couple of years ago was one one, and so was the beat up Sunflower some may remember.

This Jack in the Pulpit was in pretty deep shade so I used a bit of fill flash.

When I got around to processing it the fact that "Jack" seemed to have pulled a veil over his head, and accentuating the on camera flash made it look a bit like flower photography as WeeGee would have practiced it, struck my fancy.
