I'm (mostly) pro-Adobe; I'm happy with Lightroom, and with Elements.
But I do get pissed off when, every time I open a .PDF file, I end up
with a little taskbar notifier telling me there is an update available. I've tried to turn it off a couple of different ways, but it comes back.

I think I've mentioned this before. There is a checkbox you can check to "Don't ask me again" which does nothing in any way to stop the asking.

And the one time I told it to go ahead, it checked all my hard drives for Adobe software, and went ahead and disabled my whole CS3 Suite because it did not think my moving some of the suite that I never used to another hard drive from PS by dragging was something I should be allowed to do. I had to do a complete re-install and leave the friggin stuff all on my internal boot drive.

I hate ADOBE 2!
