Jason,

I'll take a stab at some of your questions -

1) Based on your description, it doesn't sound like the lens is really
set to automatic. There should actually be an 'A' setting on the
lens. I can believe some older 3rd party lenses might not have an
'A' setting, but I would be surprised to hear of a Pentax 'A' lens not
having an 'A' setting. Can you give us more details on which lenses
those are - they sound more like 'M' or 'K' series lenses. As to the
Tamron - is is an Adaptall lens? Also, do you have any other Pentax
bodies that feature program mode that do allow program mode with these
lenses? Again, I would think that no Pentax body functions as you
describe. More input please.

2) I have the Pentax Auto Bellows A and I can report that the MZ-S
does not mate to it. The base of the camera (no BG-10) hits into the
frame of the bellows and won't allow a solid mating. I don't know if
there are any 3rd party bellows that would work.

3) No there is no way to control the F stop from the body. Only the
aperture ring.

4) Can't help you on this one.

5) I'm not sure what 2P synch is. To use high-speed synch on the
AF360FGZ you have to set the camera to high speed synch and set the
flash to high speed synch. Sorry, that is all I can tell you.
