That makes two of us! I've been stalking 645 lenses "on the quiet" for a few months now myself. *Hoping* though, that I may not need to soon, as I've been talking turkey with Pentax, and it's looking good for my sponsorship request. :) FWIW, Kayell and CR Kennedy had back to back stands at PMA and were "sharing" a lot. They all were extremely friendly with each other, actually. So, anyways, I was lucky enough that Tony Holden (who is also the Vice President of the Qld branch of the AIPP, which I am about to submit my portfolio to), took me over to the Kayell stand and demonstrated the Medium Format capabilities of the Blads that they were using there. I was FLOORED! He showed me a shot of a city scape that was a night time panoramic. Lots of sky scrapers with brightly coloured dots all over them (lit windows). He demonstrated the lack of noise in the underexposed sky which was lovely in itself. But, then, he brought out the big guns, and zoomed in on a building, that looked to be a few kilometres away. I fell over at the detail. I could actually see people standing in their kitchens, and living rooms, in DETAIL. Now these were Blads, so different glass/sensors etc to the 645D, but I promise you, that the moment I have the cash, one of those babies is mine! AND, in the meantime, I'll be bargain hunting for awesome lenses to match.
