We compared Bill's M7 to my iiif. The lare-model M is quite a bit
larger than the old Barnack Leica.

The digital M's will always be thicker than the film bodies, you have
to put the sensor and LCD somewhere and the mount dictates a minimum
depth. The other dimensions can be shaved though.
