It arrived today. The price was $480 after rebate with free shipping. Can't complain.
I had downloaded the latest driver and all the ICC profiles yesterday, so I was up and running in 15 minutes. Screwed up the first print a bit due to the single sheet paper guide being installed a bit off. But the second print looks perfect. Can't really say if it's better than the R2400, but I can't complain at all about the results. Its probably not as big a leap forward as going from the 2200 to the 2400 was, but it's certainly a nice printer. Like the top mounted controls. A good thing for an old guy, since my printer is mounted close to the floor.
