What a fun idea. I once thought it would be fun for a horse trail across the states, so folks could go cross country on horse back. I'd planned old fashioned stage-coach type stops to change horses etc. You can go about 20 miles a day on a good horse and available water. I think that'd be fun to do, or more accurately, I once thought it'd be fun to do. Cheers, Christine
