that's what IPA is for. In one instance it is a type of beer which, given a large enough dose, makes anyone seem fluent in any language. In the other instance it is the International Phonetic Alphabet, which is a way of representing the sounds of different languages. I had to learn and use it when I was a student. It's very useful, although it doesn't necessarily help one reproduce the sounds. Being able to write down the clicks and stops in a language like Xhosa unfortunately doesn't mean one can repeat them back!
