We like it :-) It's the smallest of the three variants LG offer in that model. Ours is the counter-depth 21 cubic foot version, but you can also get a standard one with 25 cubic feet, and a monster with 29 cubic feet. The extra space comes by just making the cabinet deeper back-to-front; everything else (width, height, doors, drawer height, etc.) remains the same. Of course the smallest model is also the most expensive; the cheapest one is the middle capacity unit, but we were looking for counter-depth fridges. There's not a lot of choice if you want french doors with ice and water through the door; basically it's the LG and perhaps one other. The ice maker on the LG is very compact, and fits entirely on the door. After a few weeks we're working out how to make the best use of the slightly smaller capacity. The biggest difference is in the reduction in freezer space (especially with it being divided amongst two drawers). In the main compartment the only loss of space is pretty much the area at the back of the shelves where things used to lurk between cleanings, and slightly less capacity in the small shelves on the doors because much of the left door is taken up by the icemaker. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
