This is really a pretty lame photograph, it since it doesn't tell a story without the caption.

Caption: Former Masonic Temple now a Scientology Center. There's no outward sign but this building is now a Center for Scientology, a group even more secretive than the group that preceded them in ownership.

Notes: This scene is located in the Westville section of New Haven, CT. The area to my mind has a very California feel these days, partly the towering escarpment, behind visible behind the relatively low buildings, partly the fact that this a "new" neighborhood with nothing much earlier than the turn of the 20th century, most in fact dating from the 1950's, partly the coffee shops and galleries that have replaced the more traditional stores.

As usual comments are welcome but may be totally ignored.
