A 4mp digital Pentax like that would be more than enough for a while! And it could even cost a bit more than the (unlikely) $1200 mentioned a few times.
I would not mind to pay between $2000 and $2500 for a 4mp Pentax with the same build quality and user-interface as the MZ-S ...
