One of the things that apparently "justifies" the high price is the
inclusion of software for some pay-to-play internet site called "My Math
Lab".
Access to the site does NOT appear to be included with the software
bundle, that's another $100 added on top of the cost of the book &
internet bundle.
I'll find out Monday night if I'm going to have to buy the whole bundle
or can get by with just the textbook.
Somebody mentioned Bookfinder and it shows places I can get just the
text alone for a price that doesn't make me crazy, but that's used
without the froo-fraw.
It occurs to me, I probably should go home this weekend and find my
graphing calculator.
... and people wonder why education is in such sorry shape in the US.
It's because the whole apparatus is a swindle.
