You've heard of birch bark canoes?  Well, through the wonders of genetic 
engineering, they've bred pine trees that drop polyethylene canoes and kayaks 
instead of pine cones.  A little sticky at first, but after a couple of weeks 
they're fine.  The first red canoe is an old wood-and-canvas model, though.
