Ah. Sounds like the Quebecois are Vichy Canadians, and Torontonians are Ontario's version of Parisians.

Note, I'm a native westerner currently stuck in Toronto. I've seen
both sides. And mostly agree with the non-Torontonians.

Mostly because they're sick of Torontonians, who are somewhat
notorious for acting like Toronto's the only place that matters in
Canada.
