" Macro-wide angle " by Dan Scott - I think this one is my favorite
for the month. I love the reflections in the water. A great technical
shot, and it's beautiful, too.

" The view from a chess board. " by Byron Butler - I like the way the
chess pieces match the shape of the Twin Towers. An all-around great
shot, one of the best ones out of the hundreds I've seen of the WTC
since the tragedy.

" Capitol Reef tree sculpture " by Jan van Wijk - I like the shape of
what's left of the tree, and I like way the shape of the landscape is
discernible even with the shallow depth of field.

" Peachy " by Steve Larson - I love the colors, mood and composition.

" Gates of the Valley " by Dick Jones - I like the way the
composition guides the eye to the background. Makes me want to dust
off my backpack and go there.

" Beer " by Wendy Beard - I love the mood. Makes me want to kick back
and have a pint.

" Leaf " by Ed Keeney - very poignant.

" Cadaques " by Jaume Lahuerta - this is the kind of place I like to
explore when I travel. The photo makes me want to go there.

" G.G. and Mari, Thanksgiving 2001 " by Mike Johnston - a very sweet
moment

" Butterfly near Tucson, AZ - Nov. 7, 2001 " by Ann Sanfedele - a
perfect shot!

" Below 0? " by Thomas Cakalic - this one looks like a painting. It
doesn't even look real. Very cool. ;)

" At the end of the day " by Matjaz Osojnik - great technical photo!

" Through the Looking Glass " by Bill Peifer - looks like something
out of the Twilight Zone.

" Look of Love " by Jackie Dowell - awwww

" The Grey " by David J Brooks - I love the pose of the cat.
