If nothing drastic will happen between now and then, I will be in Sydney, Australia, during the week of September 19-27. I am coming there for a scientific conference. I know that Brian Walters is in Sydney, but I also remember mentioning that there were 3 or 4 PDMLers in Sydney. So, my questions are: 1. I'd appreciate all suggestions as for what to see/visit in the city (including some local restaurants), and in close vicinity (we are planning on renting a car for 1-2 days and going to Featherdale Wildlife Park.) The conference will be held at Sydney Masonic Centre, and the hotel we reserved is within 2-3 blocks from it (in case you can recommend some restaurants there). 2. If somebody is interested in meeting (for a lunch, photowalk, to show the city, etc.), - that'd be very interesting, - please let me know (probably off the list, - and then if there are several people, - we might coordinate a mini-PDML meeting).
